Please review the below instructions and details in the abstract submission portal before preparing and submitting an abstract.
As a Presenting Author you may submit a maximum of two abstracts for consideration, however you will likely not receive two invitations to present orally. There is no limit on the number of abstracts where you may appear as a co-author.
If accepted, it is understood that you will need to register and pay to attend the conference in person.

When submitting your abstract, you will be asked to nominate your preferred presentation format.
There are two types of presentation available – oral or poster. Authors may nominate either ‘oral’, ‘poster’ or “oral or poster” if you wish to be considered for either format.
The final decision on acceptances and on publication and presentation formats is at the discretion of the Organising Committee.
Themes
The scope of the Conference includes research on all elements of the hydrogen supply chain (production, storage and distribution, and utilisation), as well as cross-cutting topics. We are seeking presentations in the following areas:

You will be required to create an account with your contact details. You then simply follow the instructions detailed on the platform.
Abstracts are required to be submitted using the guidelines in the below template and must be no longer than 250 words.
You will be asked to nominate your preferred presentation type and agree to the terms and conditions of submission.
Once your submission has been completed you will receive an acknowledgement email from the Conference Office.

Please click on the button below to download and save the abstract submission template. Guidelines for how abstracts should be formatted are included on the template. Incomplete or incorrectly formatted submissions will be returned for you to update and then re-submit.
When submitting you will be asked to provide a brief (100 word) biography for the nominated presenting author and a head shot photograph (jpeg format).
Once submitted, abstracts can be amended via the portal up until the submission deadline of 5pm AEST on Monday 4 August 2025.
The details provided as the author contact will be used as the person to receive all communications. If co-presenters are involved, the main person is responsible for sharing communications.
Abstract review results will be communicated to the author contact on Monday 15 September 2025.
Acceptance of offers are required to be advised to the Conference Office by no later than 5pm AEST on Monday 29 September 2025.
The invitation to submit an abstract does not constitute an offer to pay travel, accommodation or registration costs associated with the Conference. Similarly, fees are not paid to successful presenters.
Presentations must be delivered in person and the ability and willingness to present in Melbourne is a condition of acceptance in the program.
The nominated presenter of successful submissions must register to attend the Conference by Monday 3 November 2025 in order for the presentation to be included in the Conference program.
Should you subsequently wish to change the presenting author to another co-author, please advise the Conference Office in advance.
