When booking online, you are asked to consider and agree to the following terms and conditions:
VOLUNTARY CANCELLATION
Should you decide to cancel your booking, no refunds will be made, however an alternative delegate name may be provided by email and the booking and funds will be allocated accordingly.
In the case of extenuating circumstances, a refund outside of these terms and conditions may be considered by and at the discretion of the Organising Committee upon application.
CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT
The Australian Hydrogen Research Network (AHRN) may cancel or postpone the function due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to Acts of God, terrorism, war, strikes or industrial action, fire, explosion, inevitable accident, breakdown of property, changes in law, or pandemics or global health crises.
In the event of a full cancellation of the function by the AHRN you will be entitled to a full refund of the amount of the function ticket received.
The maximum liability of the AHRN under these Terms and Conditions is limited to a refund of the function ticket with no additional liability for travel costs, hotel costs, or any other associated costs.
ATTENDEE CANCELLATION - MEDICAL
If, on medical grounds, you are unable to attend the function, you must cancel your attendance in writing by email to ahrc2026@wsm.com.au. A full refund may be provided at the discretion of the AHRN, however you may be asked to provide additional details.
DISCLAIMER
By booking, you acknowledge and consent that during your attendance your image may be recorded via video, photography or by any other means by an officer or official of the Conference which may be distributed or published at the discretion of the Conference. If you do not wish to be photographed, you are required to formally advise the Conference Office in advance by email.
PRIVACY
The AHRN has engaged WALDRONSMITH Management as its conference organiser and to engage with AHRC 2026 as an attendee, you are asked to provide personal information to WALDRONSMITH Management on behalf of AHRN. This information will be held for the primary purpose of supplying you with information related to the conference and membership of AHRN (if applicable). We gather and process your personal information in accordance with our privacy statement, in compliance with the Australian Privacy Act and European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We comply with these legislations and are committed to protecting the right of the individual to the privacy of their information.
